OUR HISTORY
Established in the early 1970s in Albury-Wodonga, Krautz & Summerill began as a small business specialising in domestic construction and solid plastering/rendering. As the company grew, it expanded into concreting, formwork, and steel fixing, eventually becoming a leading commercial concrete contractor across regional New South Wales, Victoria, and the ACT.
Recognising the potential of precast concrete technology, Krautz & Summerill became one of the founding members of the National Precast Association of Australia and commenced manufacturing precast products. In the late 1990s the company established its precast manufacturing facility, focusing on the production and installation of high-quality precast tilt panels for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. 2025 brought a new and bigger manufacturing facility for Krautz & Summerill.
Today, Krautz & Summerill is recognised as one of the largest multi-service concrete contractors between Melbourne and Canberra. With over 50 years of experience, Krautz & Summerill continues to deliver reliable concrete and precast solutions for schools, hospitals, industrial facilities, logistics centres, defence infrastructure, and major commercial developments throughout regional Australia.
